STEP 30


Triming the plastic sheet is easy. With the hull upsidedown the tip of a craft knife is dragged along the overhang. Use the reverse side of the knife, see fig 31 below. (fig 30)

STEP 31


Each sheet was mesured and marked in matching pairs. Using the back of a craft knife and a steel rule pass the knife over the line to be cut several times using light pressure. It is much safer to do it this way rather than pressing hard as the knife will snap before the plastic does! (fig 31)

Once the line is scored it is easy to snap the plastic along the score! Light sanding will clean up any rough edges. (fig 32)

The wedge shaped pieces at the front end of the drive section were glued on first (fig 33)

STEP 34


The marched pieces were glued on fron front to back with hot glue to finish cladding the top and bottom of the hull. The side pieces willl be attached in the next update.(fig 34)
